Jaclyn L. Danna - Obituary

aclyn Lee Cahow Danna “Jackie”, 75, of Harwood, MD died at her home on Tuesday, November 28. Born on March 20, 1948 in Sioux Falls, SD, to the late Tracey and Delores Cahow, Jackie relocated to New Carrollton, MD, and worked for the federal government for 43 years. She worked at the US Naval Academy and retired in January 2018 from the Department of the Navy. Jackie enjoyed bible study and online shopping. She is survived by her sons, Joseph A. (Lisa) Danna, Jr. of Gambrills, MD and Jay A. Danna of Harwood, MD; her siblings, Donna Jellis, Terri, Keith, Kevin and Ronnie Cahow; her grandchildren, Joey (Jennifer) and Shawn (Cheray) Danna and her great-grandchildren, Kylah, Hudson, Gryffin, Callie and Rylie and many nieces and nephews. Her siblings, Shirley Clinton and Steve Cahow, preceded her in death. Friends are invited to celebrate Jackie’s life on Wednesday, December 6, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, where her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am.
