acqueline Guthrie Stadler “Jacquie”, 82, a resident of Annapolis, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2019 in Edgewater, MD after a long happy life. Jacquie was born on February 26, 1937 in Alabama to the late Zollie and Ethel Guthrie. She was a 1987 graduate of Towson University where she received her Bachelor degree in Psychology. Jacquie retired from the ARC of Baltimore as a program administrator. She was a member of the Heritage Harbor Chorus and “The Players” Drama Club. She was also a season ticket holder for the Hippodrome Theater, musicals were her favorite. She also loved to read and travel. In addition to her parents, Jacquie was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, John V. Stadler, Jr. and her brother Ulyss D. Guthrie. She is survived by her children; Mark V. Stadler of Palmetto, Florida and Connie Bay and her husband Michael of Edgewater,. Maryland, her siblings; Ted Guthrie and his wife Shirley of Prattville, Alabama, Daniel Guthrie of Elmore, Alabama and her brother-in-law William Stadler and his wife, Sally. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Adam Stadler and his wife Becky, Kyle Stadler and his wife, Sumer and Stefan Bay. Considered the Matriarch of the Guthrie Family, she is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jacquie's life on Saturday, March 30 from 2p until her service begins at 3 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
