acqueline Delores Williams ( Brown) was born on June 23, 1948, in Memphis, TN to the late Ellen Brown and M.C. Denny. Jacqueline received her formal education in the DC Public School System. She graduated from McKinley Senior High School in NE, Washington, Dc in 1966. She started her career with joining the United States Army Reserves “USAR” in 1975. She was a true example of service and work ethic, that should as she progressed through the ranks and retired as an E8 Master Sergeant. While in the USAR Jacqueline started working at Stanford Paper Company in 1977 (International Paper). She excelled at her job and any task given to her. She received various “Top Sales” awards in her region. She was dedicated and gave her all in everything she did. In 2009 it was time to say goodbye to work and retired so she could spend more time doing what she loved to do. Jacqueline always enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her home and loved shopping “She could never pass up a “Sale” and dancing to Luther Vandross. There was never a holiday, birthday, person and/or reason that she didn’t like to celebrate. She always had a kind and warm spirit welcoming all and providing a haven of Love. Jacqueline’s favorite time of year was Christmas and always had a stash of extra Christmas gifts during her annual celebration. Jacqueline was a Diva in her own right, never a bad hair day and always dresses to impress. It was the little things that made her smile. Jacqueline departed this life peacefully in her sleep on March 6, 2022, after a strong battle with Dementia. Jacqueline leaves to cherish fond memories, her husband Walter Johnson, two daughters, Jacqueline and Charice Washington, stepdaughter Shakira Johnson, five grandchildren, Christopher (Deceased), Chelsey, Elijah, Emanual, and Kylie. Five great grandchildren. Her brothers, T Willie Dennie, Thurman P. Dennie, Tommie L. Dennie, and Corwyn Brown. A host of family and friends, honorary children (Marquette and Raymond) and grandchild (Denise Tillman) to celebrate and continue her legacy.
