Jadean Bishop - Obituary

adean Colgan Bishop Jadean Colgan Bishop, a 2 year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Ashland and Sudbury, Massachusetts, died on Friday February 27, 2009 at her sister's home in Annapolis, after a 3 year battle with Cancer. She was 57. Born March 3, 1951 in Queens, NY to the late John and Anna Burke Colgan, she attended the University of Maryland as well as Endicott College in MA. After college she worked at Arthur Anderson & Co. in Boston, MA, where she met her husband Stephen. She later worked for Laventhal & Horwath Co. and subsequently established Arrangements by Jadean, her own catering design company. Jadean was an avid member of the Thursday Garden Club in Sudbury, MA, and enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as cooking and gardening. Jadean is survived by her husband Stephen, whom she married on September 5, 1976, by her son Christopher Bishop of Boston, MA, her brothers John Colgan and Dr. Richard Colgan, both of Annapolis, MD and her sisters Regina Ricciotti of Annapolis, MD and Patty Stott of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Gerard, Katie, Elyse, Danny, Brendan, Michael, Conor and Sean. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday March 3, 2009 from 4-8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at 10am at Holy Family catholic Church, 826 W.
