James Beard - Obituary

ames Michael Beard On Monday March 3, 2014, a native Washingtonian and decorated veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Beard spent nearly 3 decades performing local and regional theater, most notably at Folger Theatre – Folger Shakespeare Library and Ford’s Theater. Beloved husband of Angela E. Auletta, devoted father of James Beard and Kristen Fleming, loving son of Edith Beard; brother of John, Robert, Stephen, Catherine, Joanne, Mary Ellen and the late Thomas. Also survived by his grandchildren; Evan, Michael, Owen, Jack and Maggie. Friends may call on Saturday, March 8 from 1pm until a memorial service begins at 2pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment private.
