James Bryan - Obituary

ames R. Bryan, 72, a resident of Lothian, MD for over 20 years died at his home on June 21, 2008 of natural causes. Born, May 28, 1936 in Washington, D.C., he graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1954 and stayed in touch with many of his classmates over the years. He was self employed as a disc jockey for over 30 years and music was his life. Survivors include his wife, Julia F. Sloan Bryan, who he married on September 25, 1993; his children, Rob (Dawn) Bryan of Arnold, MD and Renee (Dan) Winsky of Davidsonville, MD; his stepchildren, Mack (Amy) Thomas of Birmingham, AL and Lisa (David) Summers of Front Royal, VA; his sister Fran Musick of Virginia; his grandchildren, Gabby Winsky, Ava Bryan, Chloe Holt, Sierra Summers, Jordon Brasher and Allyana Grace Thomas. Friends are invited to James' Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Thursday, June 26 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11am at Largo Community Church, 1701 Enterprise Road, Mitchellville, MD. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
