James Michael Conway - Obituary

ames Michael Conway,73, a resident of Annapolis since 1980, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Born March 21, 1950, to the late John and Virginia (Tuttie) Conway, he was a native son of Cumberland, MD. Jim received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Villanova University in 1972. Jim started his work life as a banker and an Anne Arundel County Economic Development specialist. In 1996, he began his own business, Disaster Services, Inc. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Olga Dominguez; two sons, Sean and Alex Conway; three siblings, Greg and John Conway and Cathy Hamilton; a daughter-in-law, Anne McCabe; a grandson, Francis Conway; two nieces, Britney Hamilton and Jenna Skidmore; and two nephews, Pierce and Drew Conway. Friends are invited to celebrate James’ life on Saturday, December 2, from 5 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
