James Allen Curtis - Obituary

ames Allen Curtis, 79, of Great Falls, Virginia passed away at his daughters home in Edgewater, MD on July 12, 2020. James was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on December 24, 1940 to the late Chesley and Marjorie Curtis. He was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and a veteran of the U.S. Army. James worked for the Department of the Navy as a Landscape Architect, and in his down time enjoyed working in the garden and watching FOX Business. He was a member of Smith Chapel in Great Falls, VA. He is survived by his daughters, Kerri Kaminoski of Edgewater and Christine Curtis of Leesburg, VA; son-in-law, Kevin Kaminoski of Edgewater; two siblings, Clayton Curtis of Lynn, MA and Anne Broome of Alamo, CA; five grandchildren, A.J., Trey, Kiana and Brittany Passmore and Trinity Curtis plus two great-grandchildren. Burial will take place in James' hometown of Lynn at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
