James Evon Ercole - Obituary

PO James E. Ercole, USN(Ret.) passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1935 to the late Victor and Sara Ercole in Youngstown, OH. After graduating high school Jim enlisted in the US Navy. He retired from the Navy in 1974 and then went to work for the US Postal Service. He retired in 1994. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Jane Dimauro and his grandsons, Preston and Frankie. He is survived by his wife, Kathe Ercole, his children, Patricia Ercole, Christine (Benjamin) Coates and James (LaToya) Ercole, his grandchildren, Weston, Parker, Jenny, Anthony, Mary and David. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Jim's Life Celebration on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Independent Baptist Church, 9255 Piscataway Rd, Clinton, MD 20735 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Interment immediately following the service at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
