James Robert Goss - Obituary

ames Robert Goss passed away on June 3rd, 2023. He was 55 years old. James was born on July 14th, 1967, to the late Robert and Edna Goss. He grew up in Oxon Hill, Maryland and spent his adult years residing in Fort Washington, Maryland. He was an avid sports enthusiast collecting college and professional football memorabilia including a large hat collection that he was most proud of. There wasn’t a statistic he didn’t know, or a player he couldn’t name. His love for Notre Dame sports was unmatched. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his favorite brother-in- law TJ Redefer. He is survived by his sister, Bobbie Redefer of Dewey Beach, DE, niece Leigh Ann Winslow (Thurman), nephew Jack Redefer (Kirstin), great niece Olivia M. Winslow, great nephew John E. Redefer V “Joe”, cousins Jackie Rupp, Lori Jupin, Leslie Breite, Laura Mardo, Linda Draves, Andy and Marcus Jupin, and best friend Harry Parker. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 13th from 11-12, with a memorial service to begin at 12 noon, Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory: 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
