n Tuesday, August 10, 2010. The beloved husband of Martha Jane Payne; father of Michael A. Payne; brother of Francis V. Payne; grandfather of Michael A. Payne, Jr. and Lisa Marie Brown; great-grandfather of Michael Vincent Payne, Carl James and Christopher Michael Brown. Friends are invited to Alvin’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where services will be held on Saturday, August 14 at 10am. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
