James Stockett - Obituary

uneral services for James B. Stockett III will be held at noon Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Mr. Stockett died Sept. 2 at Anne Arundel Medical Center from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident that day on Solomons Island Road in Annapolis. Visitation for Mr. Stockett will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment is private. Mr. Stockett was born Feb. 8, 1982 in Takoma Park and was a graduate of South River High School. He was a field supervisor with South River Restoration Co. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, living life to the fullest and spending time with his daughter. Survivors include one daughter Kayla Stockett of Edgewater; one sister, Jennifer Stockett of Edgewater; his parents, Anita K. and James B. Stockett Jr. of Edgewater; and his grandparents, James B. Stockett Sr. of Mayo; and Kenneth and Gail Miller of Chambersburg, Pa.
