AMES C. VARIPAPA On Sunday, July 20, 2008, the beloved husband of Phyllis Varipapa; father of Robert (Nancy), Charles, Jamie (Michelle), Richard (Pamela) and Michael (Mary) Varipapa and James (Anne) Cordiero; brother of Eleanor V. Morales and Frankie Lowe. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Friends are invited to James' Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037. Inurnment will be held on Friday, October 24 at 10 a.m. at the Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in James' name to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
