Jami Nickerson - Obituary

ami Ann Day-Nickerson, a longtime resident of the Annapolis area, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24th. She was 50 years old. Jami was born on December 22, 1965 in Alexandria, VA. She loved spending time with family and playing in her garden. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business at Frostburg State University and loved working with numbers. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles C. Nickerson, who passed away on January 12, 2013; devoted mother to her two step-daughters Courtney Scott of Annapolis, MD and Lindsey Nickerson of Port Republic, MD; daughter to Ruth Stack of Edgewater, MD, James Day, Sr. and Ruth Day of Annapolis, MD; sister of James Day, Jr. and sister in law of Vicky Day of FL; loving grandmother to three young grandchildren; beloved aunt to Bambi Hopson of FL; Tabitha Day-Silva of FL; Benjamin Day of FL. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 515 Loch Haven Rd., Edgewater, MD. A private interment will be held at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
