Jane C. Cade - Obituary

ane C. Cade, 99, a resident of Greensboro, MD died on Thursday, November 25 in Longs, SC of natural causes. Born on December 9, 1921 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Charles and Marie Howder Steele, Jane worked with the GEICO Insurance Company as a file clerk. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Denton, MD and she enjoyed crafts, golfing and spending time with her family. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cade and her siblings, Marie Naylor, Margaret Kaiser, Lillian Lane, Helen Mavec, Buddy, Billy and Patrick Steele. She is survived by her daughters, Anna (Donald) Boley, Dee (Bob) Woody and Virginia (Kenneth) Turner; her siblings, Robert Steele, Ann Ireland and Camille Mahone and 12 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 62 great-great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Jane’s life at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, December 7 from 10:30am until a Mass of Christian Burial is offered at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Annapolis, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Agape Care Group, 3009 Church St., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
