Jane S. McLeod - Obituary

ane S. McLeod, 77, of Seaford, DE and previously of Edgewater and Riva, MD passed away on September 6, 2020. Jane was born on January 27, 1943 in Washington, DC to the late Francis and Grace Soules. She worked as a Library Technician with the Department of Agriculture, but her greatest work product came from being a homemaker to her husband, Norman and her two children. Jane loved spending time with her grandkids, and her frequent luncheons with friends. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her sister, Teri McGeeney. She is survived by her husband, Norman; two children, Jeffrey McLeod of Atlanta, GA and Jill McLeod-Guhne and her husband Andy; two grandchildren, Lauren and Lindsey Guhne, and a brother, Glenn (Carole) Soules of Phoenix, AZ. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jane's life on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where a funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11 at 11 am. Interment to follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville. In lieu of flowers the family request that you take the time to take your own loved ones to lunch in honor of Jane.
