Janice M Ford - Obituary

anice "Jan" Marie Ford, 80, a four-year resident of Deale, MD, and previously of Genesee, PA, died on July 4, 2024 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was born in Coudersport, PA on February 6, 1944, to the late Foster and Reva Mahon Crosby. Jan was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 963 and a life member of the Harley Owners Group. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, Winnie the Pooh, and frogs. Jan is survived by her husband of 40 years, Billie R. Ford of Deale MD; four children, Rose (Melvin) Guthrie of Dillwyn VA., Lori Prince of Muncy PA, Ricky (Karliena) Snay of Shadyside MD, William Lawton of Greenville SC, and; two stepchildren, William (Mary) Ford of Harwood MD, and Sherrie (Dennis) Wilkinson of Harwood MD; a brother, Robert Crosby of Austin PA; and 21 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren, she also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister in law, a granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. Services for Jan are private.
