Janice Reed - Obituary

anice M. Reed (nee Galeano), born September 15, 1941, of Edgewater, passed away early Sunday, November 29 after a short illness. She is survived by longtime companion David Mayne, of Annapolis; two daughters, Stacey Davis of Annapolis and Jill Tatham of Edgewater; three granddaughters, Anne Marie and Caitlyn Whitesell and Erin Devine. She is also survived by her sister, Dolores Oliveri of Florida. Janice worked at Anne Arundel Community College from 1980 until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, writing, flower arranging, the Washington Redskins and spending time with her family. Family and friends may visit from 5 pm until 7 pm on Friday, December 4, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm, immediately following visitation, at Kalas. Interment will be private. Donations may be made to her favorite charity, The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
