Jeanette Litz - Obituary

eanette Stallings Litz, 85, a 40 year resident of Annapolis, died Thursday, February 20 of natural causes at the Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood. Born November 5, 1928 in Annapolis to the late Robert and Lillie Stallings, Jeanette was a graduate of Annapolis High School. She was a clerk at the naval experimental station, was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the South County Senior Center. In her spare time she enjoyed participating in her sorority activities, ceramics, taking care of her dogs and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, R. Bruce and Douglas S. Stallings. Jeanette is survived by her husband of 57 years, John S. Litz and three nieces, Carolyn S. Kramer of Edgewater, Brenda J. Covert of Greensboro and Dorrie K. Davis of Annapolis. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.
