Jeanne Jacobs - Obituary

eanne Mullaney Jacobs, 63, an 18-year resident of Dunkirk and previously of Rockville, MD, died November 19 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was born August 29, 1948 in Baltimore and was the office manager at Jacobs and Jacobs, P.A. in Edgewater. She had a passion for the beach, especially Key West and Ocean City, and enjoyed reading. She also loved traveling with her sisters and spending time with her brother, close friends, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kevin Daniel Jacobs. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Thomas E. Jacobs III; three sons, Michael Jacobs of Washington, DC, Marty Jacobs of Silver Spring, MD, and Tim Jacobs of Dunkirk, MD; one brother, Joseph Mullaney; four sisters, Susan Mullaney of St. Michael’s, MD, Carol Tewksbury of Green Harbor, MA, Patricia Pratt of Baltimore, MD and Eileen Goldsmith of Seven Valleys, PA; and four grandchildren, Patrick Kineen, Brendan Haggarty, Claire Elizabeth and Emily Catherine Jacobs. Friends are invited to Jeanne’s Life Celebration from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Tuesday, November 22 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 23 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 101 Owensville Road, West River. Interment church cemetery.
