Jeanne L. Rupp - Obituary

eanne L. Rupp, a longtime resident of Pittsburgh, PA, Edgewater, MD and most recently of Augsburg Lutheran Village in Gwynn Oak, MD, died on Thursday, October 13, 2016. She was 101. Born January 4, 1915, in Zelienople, PA, to the late George Amos and Stella Mae (Ziegler) Lusk, she completed her nurses training at Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA. She was employed as a registered nurse most of her life. Jeanne was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church who enjoyed quilting, cake decorating, creative cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the devoted wife of 65 years of the late Fred G. Rupp; mother of Jeanne R. Lall and her husband, Parshotam S. of Naples, FL; sister of Amy Cooper of South Carolina and the late Louis and Jack Lusk, Anna L. Boyer and Georgia Marshall; grandmother of Sean Lall and his wife, Kate, Pindy Lall and Pat Lall and his wife, Marilyn. Also survived by three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD.
