Jeanne Tshontikidis - Obituary

eanne Terzakis Tshontikidis, 54, a two-year resident of Chester and previously of Clarksville, MD, passed away on May 27, 2016 at her home following a five-year battle with cancer. Born on March 29, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA to Helen and the late Anthony Terzakis, Jeanne graduated from Rutgers University in 1984 with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She previously worked as a software developer for GE’s Aerospace and Information Systems division and most recently as the Director of Software Development for the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Jerry Tshontikidis; her children, Sava Anthony Tshontikidis of Washington, DC and Alaina Martina of Annapolis, MD; her mother, Helen Terzakis of Haddonfield, NJ; and sister, Christina Pond of Jamestown, NC. Friends are invited to celebrate Jeanne’s life from 6 to 8 p.m.on Tuesday, May 31 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.on Wednesday, June 1 at Ss. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
