Jeffrey Allen Tyson - Obituary

effrey "Jeff" Allen Tyson, 56, a resident of Edgewater, MD and previously Hyattsville, MD, died on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born January 16, 1962, in Plattsburgh, NY, to Harry M. Tyson and the late Beverly Tyson, he graduated from South River High School. Jeff worked as a land surveyor. He enjoyed Dallas Cowboys football, Texas Rangers baseball, NASCAR, and was a collector of music. In addition to his father, Jeff is survived by four siblings, Robert Tyson of Ijamsville, MD, Vivian Grady of McLean, VA, Kim Tyson of Edgewater, MD, and Sharon Hepp of Steeleville, IL; four nephews, Robby and Chris Tyson and Daniel and Michael Grady; two nieces, Tanis Hampton-Miller and Katie Grady. He is also survived by 4 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew. Friends are invited to celebrate Jeffrey's life at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Saturday, November 3 from 1 to 3 PM with his memorial service beginning at 3 pm.
