T

he Life of Jerry A. Mack with love and immeasurable treasured memories. For the value of life cannot be just measured by endurance alone, but in one’s legacies and their impact upon the lives of others. Our Father, Daddy, Pa-Pa, Uncle, Brother and Friend (known as MACK) was called to rest on January 25, 2016. His death was unexpected and sudden. His life began as the son of the late Addell Irene Bowman and LeRoy Mack. He was raised and educated in Pisgah, Maryland. Later in life he became a resident of Washington, D.C. There he held a job as a supervisor of Flintstone Elementary School in Oxon Hill, MD until his retirement. His passion in life was being a Truck Driver, Dump Trucks, 18 Wheelers and his favorite was Towing Trucks; which he had many funny stories to share. Jerry also enjoyed hanging at Bud's Creek. His love for the grandchildren and especially the great grandchildren was his world. Each one had a special place in his heart with a different story. They could do no wrong in the eyes of Pa-Pa. Mack is preceded in death by his parents Addell I. Bowman and LeRoy Mack. Brother(s) Paine LeCount Bowman, Wayne Levi Bowman and DeWayne Aaron Bowman. His Life shall continue to be cherished and celebrated by his very special friend for over 30 years Rose Collins, his daughters; Gwendolyn, Jacqueolyn, Sharolyn, Marcia (Harold). Sons; Eric (Lisa) and Jerry Mack, Jr. , Brother; Ernest Henson (Vera) and a special niece Patrice Bowman; (14) Grandchildren, (10) Great Grandchildren and a Host of Family & Friends. Family will receive friends on Saturday January 30, 2016 from 10 a.m until time of memorial service at 11 a.m, at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME 6160, OXON HILL RD, OXON HILL MD, 20745.
