Jesse Thorne - Obituary

esse "Jaybird" Andrew Thorne, III, a lifelong resident of Edgewater died at his home on March 31, 2014. He was 49. Born July 20, 1964 to Maureen and the late Jesse A. Thorne, Jr., in Annapolis, he graduated from South River High School. Jesse was employed as an HVAC sheet metal mechanic with sheet metal union #100. He was a self taught musician and was able to play the bass, guitar, washtub bass, mandolin and standup bass. Jesse enjoyed music, fishing and boating. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Jan Eric Thorne of Odenton. Friends are invited to Jesse's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater on Wednesday, April 9 from 6pm until time of memorial service begins at 7pm. Interment private.
