Jesus Llacuna - Obituary

n June 17, 2014, Jesus “Jess” Llacuna of Fort Washington, MD died in Georgetown University Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Dear husband for 42 years of Ligaya Salmo Llacuna; father of Ken, Marc and Marivic. Born and raised in the Philippines, he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering Degree from FEATI University, Manila then immigrated after enlisting as an electronics technician in the US Air Force. Retired after serving 20 honorable years in the Philippines, Germany, and the US. Family and friends are invited to Jess's Life Celebration on Saturday June 21, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill, Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11am at St Mary's Catholic Church, 13401 Piscataway Rd., Clinton, MD. Interment Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jess’s name to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
