Jill Power - Obituary

ill Marie Perry Power, a long time resident of Edgewater, MD and most recently of Heritage Harbour, passed away on Friday January 9, 2015. Jill was retired from the Anne Arundel County Board of Education and was a volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Power, III and her son John Power, IV. Her legacy lives on through her children; Mary Power, Tollie Osborne, Carole and her husband John King, Charles and his wife Cathy Power, Ellen Power, Patrick and his wife Renee Power and Paul Power. She is also survived by four sisters, Micky Devaney, Patricia Fredrick, Suzanne Pollock, and Sally Bielaski; eleven grandchildren, Carrie and Mike Maresca, Justin King, Melissa and Micky Litschweski, Chrissy and Steve Wagner, Ashlee, Jessica, Jacklyn, Matthew, Garrett, Reba and Ty Power and three great-grandchildren, Gavin and Lucas Maresca and Logan Wagner. Friends are invited to Jill’s Life Celebration on Monday, January 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday January 13 from 11:00 AM until her Memorial Service begins at 12:00 noon at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville MD.
