oan M. Gates a resident of Ft Washington passed away on Wednesday November 18,2015 in Delaware; the beloved wife of Theodore L. "Lindy" Gates; mother of Janice (Matt) Paige, Jerry (Dana) Gates and Joy (Glenn) Burchett; sister of Ray Blankenship; grandmother of Jenae, Jordan, Justin, Javen, Glenn and Gregory; also survived by six great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to Joan's Celebration of Life on Monday November 23,2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill RD, Oxon Hill MD. Services on Tuesday November 24,2015 at 1 pm at St Barnabas Episcopal Church, 5203 St Barnabas Rd, Temple Hills MD,20748. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland MD.
