oanne Gore, 73, a one year resident of Kent Island and formerly of Annapolis, died on Monday, May 19 in Queenstown of natural causes. Born on March 19, 1941 in Washington, D.C. to the late Mark and Catherine Roberts, Joanne was a graduate of Regina High School. Most recently she worked as an office manager for her daughter’s orthodontic practice. Joanne enjoyed skiing, golf, hand dancing and swing dancing. In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Roberts. She is survived by her husband, William R. Gore, whom she married on October 11, 1987; her daughter, Mary C. Trahar of Chester; her sister, Christine Seabolt of Annapolis and three grandchildren, Noah M., Ryan W. and Emma D. Trahar all of Chester. Friends are invited to Joanne’s Life Celebration from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Monday, May 26 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30am on Tuesday, May 27 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis. Interment will follow at Mt.
