Joe M. Biddle - Obituary

oe Marquis Biddle, 64, a 6 ½ year resident of Shadyside, MD, passed away at his home on August 20, 2026. Joe was born on May 15, 1962, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late John and Lucy Biddle. He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Music from Ohio University and worked for ABR Capital Partners for 37 years. Joe was a member of Chesapeake Yacht Club, the Arundel Vocal Arts Society and was a founding member of St. Charles of Brazil parish. His interests included music directing, singing, boating, cycling, theater and barbershop chorus. Joe enjoyed all forms of sports and especially cheering on the Ravens, Orioles and his beloved WVU Mountaineers. He also enjoyed watching his grandson’s wrestling matches. Joe had many titles but being PAPA and Finn's Dad was among his most favorites. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his nephew Stevie Biddle. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Nora Ann Biddle, his children Donna Puccinelli (Jimmy) of Springfield, Georgia and Kelly Taylor (Daniel) of Ocean City, MD, Chris Marshall (Tracey) of Houston, TX, his siblings, Ann Barker of McDonough, Georgia, Lucy Downey (Jamey) of Galax, Virginia, Jeff Biddle (Kay) of Granger, Indiana, his grandchildren, Tre Puccinelli of Annapolis, MD, Trenton Puccinelli of Springfield, Georgia and Ashlynn Marshall of Bonifay, Florida and his nephews, Jeb Biddle, Evan Barker, John Downey, John Biddle and Liam Downey. Joe is also survived by sister-inlaw, Gail Jamart, brothers- in- law, Bobby Boyer (Debbie) and Tony Boyer, his great nieces and nephews and multiple friends. Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Joe's life on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 3-6pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 1 pm at the Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church, 38 W.
