John Mitchel Clark - Obituary

ohn known to his friends as "Mitch" was born March 16, 1941 to parents Sadie and John Clark. He graduated from Oxon Hill High School class of 1960. He became a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps. Reserve. Mitch worked many years as a member of the Steam Fitting Local 602, receiving his 55th year membership certification in 2020. When he was younger, he enjoyed traveling with ski club. Mitch enjoyed cars and anything mechanical. He worked for many local dirt race track teams over the years. He was very proud to be part of the pit crew for a few Winston Cup races. He still enjoyed going to the track and watching Nascar races on the weekends. In retirement, Mitch enjoyed hanging out with the gang. He would often meet up with a group of guys at the local McDonalds. Mitch and his friends would frequent the American Legion Post #248, Camp Springs Elks and Clinton Moose.
