ohn “Jack†Phillip Flanagan
John “Jack†Flanagan, a 37 year resident of Annapolis, died on January 29, 2010 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House after a 9 month battle with Burkitt's Lymphoma. He was 51.
Born December 23, 1958 in Auburn, New York to John D. and the late Angela Flanagan, he was a 1977 graduate of Annapolis High School and also attended Anne Arundel Community College. Jack spend most of his adult life working in the restaurant industry.
Jack was a devoted and loving father, son, brother and uncle. He had a great appreciation for sports, especially lacrosse and more recently golf. He spent most of his free time with his children, family and friends. His friends will always remember his humor and memorable times together.
He is survived by his former wife Natasha Flanagan of Annapolis, his children Adam and Paige Flanagan, both of Annapolis and Samantha Flanagan of Woodbine, Maryland, his father John D. Flanagan, and his brothers, Chris, Michael and David Flanagan, all of Annapolis. John has two nieces, and four nephews, all of Annapolis and is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends are invited to Jack's Life Celebration on Tuesday February 2, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday February 3, 2010 at 10:30am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery n Annapolis.
