John Herbert Green - Obituary

ohn Green 7/28/1954-11/26/2020 To say Johnny Green was a good man would be a gross understatement. Larger than life. A loving father, grandfather, friend, and mentor to all worthy of his time. He served the DC community as a firefighter for 32 years, putting others’ lives above his own day in, and day out. Outside of work he was no different, when the call came in, he was there and usually before you. He was never late to anything. He loved the Simpsons, and baseball. He was the embodiment of "live to ride" and earned the bragging rights of putting 100k miles on one of his Harleys. The world has lost a truly great man. He will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate John's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Thursday, February 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
