John Hoffman - Obituary

ohn M. “Jack” Hoffman, 88, a 6-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Ft. Washington, MD died peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Born April 15, 1923 in Washington, DC, he attended Anacostia High School. Jack was employed for Judd & Detweiler printing for about 40 years. He served his country from 1942-45. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Lou Hoffman in 1998. He is survived by one stepdaughter, Kathleen Collin of Milwaukee, WI; one sister, Agnes Frederick of Chester, MD; also survived by 15 nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to Jack’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Wednesday, November 30 from 3pm until time of memorial service at 6pm. Interment Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
