assed away on Thursday September 11, 2014 in Charlotte, NC. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Helen; two daughters, Barbara Brown and Georgia Nixon; a son, John Holmes; and six granddaughters, Stephanie, Christina, Nicole Nixon, Katelyn, Eleni Brown and Ava Holmes. Friends are invited to Bill's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, September 16 from 6 to 9pm. A funeral service will be held at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church at 11am on Wednesday, September 17. Interment St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Cemetery.
