ohn G. "Jack" Lassise, age 76, a resident of Baltimore, MD for twenty-five years and previously of Annapolis, MD, died on Tuesday, March 27 at Anne Arundel Medical Center due to kidney cancer. Born on April 2, 1941 in Washington, D.C. to the late George and Helen Lassise, Jack graduated from Bladensburg High School and then served in the U.S. Army from 1960-63, where he was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY as part of the 101st Airborne, 187th Infantry Division. After being honorably discharged, he went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in business administration at the University of Maryland. Jack then worked in the stock brokerage business and later was a commercial real estate broker with NAI Michael for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis, where he was active in the elderly assistance program. Jack enjoyed hand dancing with Paula, working on projects at the farm, deep sea fishing and going to Ravens games. He had been a season ticket holder since 1996. Jack also loved old cars, Hot Rods and going to car shows. He is survived by his significant other of more than 25 years, Paula Sullivan of Baltimore, MD; his sons, Kevin Lassise of Edgewater, MD and Mark Lassise of Frederick, MD; his brothers, Glen Lassise of St. Petersburg, FL and Craig Lassise of Ellicott City, MD and his grandchildren, Dylan and John C. Lassise, Daniel and Taylor Sullivan. Friends are invited to celebrate Jack's life on Monday, April 9 from 6 PM until his funeral service begins at 7:30 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment, with military honors, will be on Tuesday, April 10 at 1 PM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville, MD.
