John Howard Masters - Obituary

ohn Howard Masters, 78, a 5-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Glenelg, MD, died on July 25, 2022. Born February 15, 1944 in Allentown, PA to the late Carson Willard and Georgia Virginia Masters, he was a 1966 graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and received his Master of Business Administration from Loyola College. John was self-employed in various fields. He was a longtime member of the Second Church of Christ, Scientist. John loved British cars and owned Jaguars, Rolls Royces, and Mercedes Benz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carson Masters of Bethlehem, PA. John is survived by his wife of 14 years, Norah Masters; two stepsons, Brandon Arter of Edgewater, MD, and Brock Arter and his wife, Rebecca of Edgewater, MD; and three grandchildren, Beau, Rylee, and Shelby Arter.
