ohn H. Peck, a resident of Annapolis since 1986, died on May 25 at the Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood.
Born March 11, 1924 in Concord, NH, John graduated from Gonzaga High School in 1942 and attended Georgetown University prior to serving in the U.S. Navy as an Air Crewman during WWII. John was employed as a sales representative for Milton Bradley, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis, where he served as an Arimathean and Usher. John enjoyed bowling, golf and spending time with his Heritage Harbour neighbors and friends
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59-years, Evelyn Peck in 2005.
John is survived by three sons, John (Anne) Peck of Plymouth, MA, Steve Peck of Brunswick, ME and Larry Peck of Nokesville, VA; three grandchildren, Lisa O'Brien and Johnny and Katherine Peck; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Friday, May 31 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 1 at 9am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis. Interment Fairfax Memorial Gardens.
