John Ring - Obituary

ohn Robert "Jack" Ring Sr., 67, a resident of Davidsonville for 12 years and previously of Riverdale, died unexpectedly of complications from a stroke Dec. 20 at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham. Mr. Ring was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Washington, D.C. He was a member of Local 891 of the Cement Masons Union in Washington. He enjoyed fishing and watching the Washington Redskins. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles F. and James Ring. Survivors include his wife since 1959, Ruby I. Ring; one son, John R. Ring Jr. of Cape St. Claire; three daughters, Chris Underwood and Theresa Miller of Davidsonville and Karen Ring of Cape St. Claire; one brother, Robert Ring of Illinois; one sister, Marianne Ring of Riva; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call at The George P. Kalas Life Celebration Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road Edgewater, MD on Sunday, December 23, from 1:00 PM until funeral service begins at 4:00 P.M.
