John Sween - Obituary

ohn Sween Jr., 84, of Fort Washington, Maryland, beloved husband, father and grandfather, died on May 1, 2013. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 year, Lu Sween. He is also survived by his children, John Sween, Mary Berry and Karen Chambers, and his son-in-law, Terry Chambers; his grandchildren, Jennifer Brooks and her husband, Brian, Bobby, Tara and Michael Berry, John and Cailey Sween, and Stephen and David Chambers; and his great-grandchildren Riley and Bryson Brooks and Tyson Berry. Services will be held Tuesday, May 7 with the family receiving visitors at 10:30 and the service beginning at 11:00 at Oxon Hill United Methodist Church at 6400 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. A lunch will be provided following the service. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Capital Caring Hospice at 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, VA 22042.
