Jonel Reyes - Obituary

ith grateful hearts we remember Jonel (Jan 31, 1988–Feb 18,2026), a brother, husband, and devoted father who blessed this life with joy. He came to the United States as a young man, found the love of his life in Emylyn, and together they raised three bright boys — Chandler, Carl, and Calvin. Jonel’s laughter and warm presence lit every room; he was forever young at heart, the uncle children adored, the friend who planned every adventure, and the one who loved good food and good company. He truly lived fully and fearlessly, leaving no regrets, only memories of a life well loved. Though our arms ache with the emptiness he leaves behind, we take comfort in the promise of our faithful God — that He binds up the brokenhearted, carries us through our grief, and holds Jonel now in His everlasting peace. We trust in the hope of the resurrection and look forward to the day we will be reunited. Until then, may the Lord’s comfort, peace, and strength surround Emylyn, Chandler, Carl, Calvin, and all who mourn him. Jonel’s light will forever shine in our hearts.
