Joseph William Abbott - Obituary

oseph William "Joey" Abbott, 59, of Annapolis, MD and previously of Dunkirk, MD passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at his home. Born on July 24, 1958 in Brownsville, PA to Joseph and the late Nancy Yoders Abbott, Joey was self employed in the automotive repair business. He is survived by his wife, Diane Carmela Abbott; his two children, Joseph W. Abbott, Jr. of Hughesville, MD and Jennifer (Jeremy ) Farmer of Sykesville, MD; his two grandchildren, Jayla and Jemma Farmer; his sister, Marcia (John) Yodichkas and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to celebrate Joey's life on Thursday, March 15 from 4 PM until his funeral service begins at 6 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the American Cancer Society, 7500 Greenway Center Drive, Suite 300, Greenbelt, MD 20770.
