Joseph Benedik - Obituary

n Sunday, July 14, 2013; the beloved husband of the late Mary Cassandra Honablew; father of Mary Rosetta Honablew; brother of Thomas and Robert Benedik, Barbara Wnukowski and the late Michael Benedik; grandfather of Iris Mae Holden. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC, was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from the Department of Energy in 1997. He was a devout Catholic and served on the Board of Directors for the Body of Christ Farm. Friends may call at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 17502 Aquasco Rd. Brandywine, MD on Friday, July 26 from 10AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM.
