Joseph Clements - Obituary

oseph Clements, Sr., 79, an 11 year resident of Ocean Pines, MD and a previous longtime resident of Clinton, MD died May 12, 2008 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD of complications from Diabetes. Born April 17, 1929 in Washington, D.C., he attended Anacostia High School in Washington, D.C. He was employed as a superintendent with Flippo Construction Company most of his life. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #126 in Clinton, MD for many years. He was the beloved husband of Deborah E. Clements, whom he married on March 25, 1950. Father of Joseph Clements, Jr. and Richard Clements both of Edgewater, Michael Clements of Berlin, MD, Kevin Clements of Waldorf, MD and Steven Clements of Huntingtown, MD; brother of the late Louis Litz, Olive Medlock, Roy Courtney Litz, Carmella Del Guidice, Anthony Clements, Marie Lomax and Frank Clements. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Joseph's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 15 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD where funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, at 10 A.M. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville.
