oseph Curtis Popham “Joe”, 36, a 23-year resident of Arnold, died November 19, 2010 at his home. He was born September 5, 1974 in Annapolis and graduated from Annapolis Senior High School in 1992. An accomplished singer, guitarist and drummer, Joe was a member of several area bands including, Manic 69, Unlike Agnew and Dead Wrong. In addition to his love for music, Joe was an avid Redskins and Lakers fan who also enjoyed playing basketball and football, and he was well known for his practical jokes.
Joe is survived by his companion, Amy Clark of Annapolis, his mother, Patricia Hignutt and stepfather, Steve Jerew of Arnold, his father, Jack L. Popham, Sr. of Tallahassee, FL, one brother, Jack L. Popham, Jr. of Lakelard, FL, one sister, Kate Dill of Arnold and a niece, Maggie Popham.
Friends are invited to Joe’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Monday, November 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 24, from 10 a.m. until service begins at 11 a.m. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
