Joseph Reid, Sr. - Obituary

oseph Francis Reid Sr. (Age 65), Washingtonian, passed away on August 8, 2017. Beloved husband of Sandra Reid, loving father of Lorraine Reid, Kara (Frank) Moynihan, Joseph Reid Jr., Amanda (Brian) Corey, cherished G-pop of 6 granddaughters, brother of Edward (Sue) Reid and the late Kathleen Beall, and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by many friends and relatives. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 19th, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 313 2nd Street NE in Washington, D.C. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
