native Washingtonian, retired D.C. Firefighter, Engine 25, and Naval Korean War Veteran died on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Fredericksburg, VA. The beloved husband of Betty S. Wilson of 52 years; devoted and loving father of John B. (Judie) Wilson and Melanie Wilson (Carl) Heatley; caring and loving grandfather of Chelsea, Dylan and Sydney Heatley; brother-in law of Edna Edmondson and Lloyd Sydnor. Family and friends are invited to Joe's Life Celebration on Monday, August 13 from 11:30am until service time at 12:30pm at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd. Oxon Hill, MD.
