Joseph Young - Obituary

n Friday, December 25, 2015; the beloved husband of Mary Tripp Young; father of Gwendolyn Townsend, Shawn and Yolanda Young and the late Karen Young Nelson and Rhonda Young; son of Katie Arnold (Madison) and the late Joseph F. Young Jr.; brother of James, Edwin and Jarl Young and Avis Bembry; stepson of Mabel Young. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandson, one aunt Charlotte Owen (Robert); one uncle Leroy Merkman (Frankie) and many other relatives and friends. Friends may call at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2409 Ainger Pl., S.E., Washington, DC 20020 on Tuesday, January 5 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Interment Private.
