Joseph L. Shields - Obituary

oseph L. Shields, “Joe”, 65, a resident of Churchton, MD, died February 7, 2020 at his home. He was born on August 27, 1954 in Massachusetts to the late Francis and Leona Shields. Joe served his country proudly in the US Army for 22 years. He enjoyed cooking and reading. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Daisy Alzosa, his children; Josef, Zen, Zairene and Justine, all of Churchton, MD. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Joe’s life on Wednesday, February 19 from 10am until his funeral service begins at 11 am at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. Interment will follow at 1 pm at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD.
