Josephine Helms - Obituary

osephine T. Helms, 87, a resident of Southdown Shores in Edgewater, MD and of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away at her home in Edgewater on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Helms, loving mother of Charles R. “Chuck” Helms and his wife Sandy of Bradenton, FL., Deborah Helms and her husband, Bruce Milam, of Bowie, MD, Susan T. Helms of Cape Coral, FL, Teresa Landon and her husband, John, of Arnold, MD, Robyn Sasseen of Birmingham, AL, and Frederick L. Helms and his wife Marcia, of Edgewater, MD; loving grandmother of Jason, Karin, Ryan, Mandy, Eric, Tony, Sarah, Joshua, Lyndsay, Stacy, Dickie, and Van, she was also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Jo was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, at 11:00 AM at All Hallows’ Church, 3604 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
